While running search marketing campaigns for his favourite charity in 2003, Mahesh believed there was a need for a pay-for-performance digital brand management firm - and set up Pinstorm in Bombay. With over 120 people across 6 offices in India, Singapore, Malaysia, Europe and the US, Pinstorm is today among the world's leading digital marketing firms. Mahesh has a passion for early-stage investing and teamed up with Pravin Gandhi and Bharati Jacob (ex-Infinity) in 2006 to set up Seedfund, today a leading early-stage venture capital fund in India. Professor Nandini Vaidyanathan
She’s a traveling teacher who teaches entrepreneurship in several ivy -league business schools around the world. From being just a word in the dictionary five years ago, it has now consumed her whole being. Her moment of epiphany happened four years ago when she realized that in India not too many people became entrepreneurs simply because they didn’t know how. So she founded her company Startups to mentor entrepreneurs (forstartups.blogspot.com) .Up until July this year, she has mentored over 500 startup entrepreneurs across domains, across geographies, pro bono. Twenty years in the corporate sector, in MNC’s on all inhabited continents, have given her enough reason to say, been there, done that. Startups has also been involved in mentoring women build micro enterprises in economies as plural as Afghanistan, countries in South and East Africa and India. Paranjoy Guha Thakurta, Journalist.
He is an independent journalist and an educator. His work experience, spanning over 33 years, cuts across different media: print, radio, television and documentary cinema. He has been associated with a number of projects of the United Nations Development Programme and the International Labour Organization. He is a director/producer of documentary films. One entitled “Idiot Box or Window of Hope” examines the impact of television on Indian society – was produced by the Public Service Broadcasting Trust (PSBT) in 2003 and was broadcast on Doordarshan. In 2006-07, he produced and directed a five-part documentary series in partnership with the PSBT entitled: “Hot As Hell: A Profile of Dhanbad”, different versions of which have been broadcast on various television channels including Doordarshan and NDTV 24x7. In 2007, he directed a documentary film “Grabbing Eyeballs: What’s Unethical About Television News in India” for PSBT that was followed up by another entitled “Advertorial: Selling News or Products?” in 2009.
He is a partner of Media Network of India, a firm engaged in designing and creation of content for all media (print, radio, television, websites and mobile phones), contract publishing, media training, and establishment of radio stations, marketing and business development for media organizations.

He is a Naturalist, Wildlife Photographer, Film-maker. Shivang Mehta started his career as a journalist and later became a PR professional where he handled PR for leading edge companies like Evalueserve, Google and Bharti. He joined a media house in Delhi and met Kahini who took him for his first encounter with wilderness which transformed him into a strong custodian of the environment and its denizens. He has made films on environment and wildlife and have conducted over 25 photography workshops in Corbett and other national parks around the country.

He is the founder and CEO of SMSCountry Networks, which is a SMS aggregator and bulk SMS tools provider and he also runs the indian mobile advertising company 160by2, which tags contextual ads in the free SMS generated by users. A visionary to the core, Satya provides the driving force for SMSCountry's young, high spirited and motivated team in achieving great heights. Satya is a serial entrepreneur. During the Dotcom days, he started an online examination portal, A2Zexams, the first of its kind at that time. He then managed the Indian Operations of a UK based calling card company, Ekspertek. This experience and knowledge in the Internet as well as the Telecom domain was instrumental in carving out the current business of SMSCountry. He spends considerable time researching on the internet and is a true believer in the FREE spirit of the Internet (everything on the internet should be free). Aloke is the dynamo who drives iXiGO with his passion and has a love for speed in usability and execution. His core focus is people, people and people. As a Teach For India fellow, his job is to bridge the achievement gap that exists between a 2nd grader from a low income school and his counterpart in a high end private school. His kids come in with a lag of one year in physical growth and mental development; and two years of academic lag and the rote learning they have been through, they are a good two and a half years(min) behind their wealthier counterparts. His aim is to make the next two years experiential and motivational for his class, his school and the community from where they come. These children have never been to a movie theatre, never dined at a restaurant, never met firemen, or police women. He wants his children to experience different things, broaden their horizons, expose them to new emotions, all this alone can make the children of our country more tolerant and open minded. He is an engineer from BIT Mesra.

She felt an itching need for startup entrepreneurs to find their voices. She simply put up a website YourStory.in and captured entrepreneur stories. “If you have a story to tell, we give you space for it” was the idea behind YourStory.in. The momentum began to build and with nearly 2000 entrepreneur stories and counting, YourStory has become a powerful platform for entrepreneurs in India in the second year of its founding. A year into the venture, CNBC-TV18 Young Turks, the longest running entrepreneur TV show, signed up YourStory as its online partner.
